When you open the Today tab, Prewanth builds a personalized briefing based on your zip code, saved stores, watchlist, and interests. It includes weather with a 5-day forecast, store weekly ad links, price alert hits, local news, gas prices, events, jobs, and restaurants. The briefing refreshes twice daily. Use the Edit Briefing button to reorder or hide sections.

For saved stores we surface a link to their current weekly ad. We don't scrape or display individual sale prices — just a shortcut so you don't have to go looking for it yourself.

Yes. Use the Edit Briefing button on the Today tab to drag sections into a different order or toggle any of them off entirely. Your briefing shows everything by default — hide what you don't want.

Briefing data refreshes twice daily. Weather comes from weather.gov. Gas links out to GasBuddy for live data.

Add a product to your watchlist with a target price. You can also specify size, color, and condition (new or any). Each morning Prewanth checks public shopping search results. If a price is found below your threshold, the item is flagged in your briefing and — if email alerts are on — you receive an email from hello@prewanth.com. You get 10 email alerts per month on the free plan.

No. Prices come from public shopping search data and change frequently. Prewanth is not affiliated with any retailer. Always verify the price directly before purchasing.

Yes. Each watchlist item has an email alert toggle you can flip on or off at any time from the Watch tab.

Dismissing moves the alert to your archive in the Watch tab. Archived items stop triggering alerts and are automatically deleted after 15 days. Dismissed alerts still count toward your 10 monthly email alerts.

Anything local — gas prices, restaurants, events, services, jobs, store comparisons. All answers are grounded to your zip code. The AI won't make up local businesses, but it can still get things wrong, so use it as a starting point.

Yes. Like any AI it can get things wrong, especially for prices, hours, or availability. Treat answers as a helpful nudge in the right direction, not a definitive source.

Signed-in users get 10 questions per day. Limits reset at midnight. The Ask tab requires a free account.

Signed-in users can add up to 2 zip code areas — your first zip is free and doesn't count toward the limit. You can switch between them freely. Anonymous users cannot change their zip after initial entry.

Prewanth may request your location to suggest your zip code on first use, but it's not required. All personalization is based on your zip code, not precise GPS coordinates.

Prewanth is a web app that works on any device at prewanth.com/app. A native app is on the roadmap.

Check your spam folder first. On the login screen there's a "Resend confirmation email" option. Resend is rate-limited to once every 24 hours per address. If you're still stuck, email us at prewanthapp@gmail.com.

Click "Forgot password" on the login screen. You'll receive a reset link by email. The reset page is at prewanth.com/reset.
