1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Prewanth ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Prewanth provides a personalized local information assistant that aggregates publicly available data including weather, store weekly ads, product prices from shopping search results, local events, and employment listings based on your zip code.
3. User Accounts
You may use certain features without an account. Creating an account requires a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to create an account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits or access restrictions
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute data from the Service in bulk
- Interfere with the integrity or performance of the Service
- Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
5. Information Accuracy
Prewanth aggregates information from third-party sources including search APIs and weather services. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information displayed. Store ads, prices, and local listings change frequently. Always verify important information directly with the source before making purchasing decisions. The AI assistant can make mistakes and should be used as a starting point, not a definitive source.
6. Price Alerts
Price alert emails are sent as a convenience feature. Prewanth is not affiliated with any retailer and does not guarantee that the alerted price will still be available when you click through. Prices are sourced from public shopping search results and can change at any time.
Dismissed alerts are archived for 15 days before automatic deletion. Alert history is not permanently retained.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prewanth shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on any information provided.
8. Service Changes
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at prewanthapp@gmail.com.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes shall be resolved in the jurisdiction where Prewanth operates.

What we collect
When you use Prewanth, we collect:
- Zip code — Required to personalize your briefing. Stored in your browser and associated with your account if signed in.
- Email address — If you create an account, used for login, confirmation, and price alert emails.
- Interests and preferences — Sections you follow, briefing layout, stores, and watchlist items.
- Usage data — Questions asked in the Ask tab (used for rate limiting), IP address (used for abuse prevention).
What we do not collect
- We do not track your precise GPS location
- We do not collect payment information
- We do not sell your data to third parties
Advertising
Prewanth is currently free with no advertising. In the future we may partner with ads to serve you better. If and when that changes, we will update this policy and notify users.
How we use your data
Your data is used to provide the Service — personalizing your briefing, sending price alert emails, and enforcing usage limits. We do not profile you for advertising at this time.
Third-party services
We use trusted third-party services for hosting, authentication, search data, and email delivery. These services process data only as necessary to operate Prewanth.
Data retention
Your account data is retained while your account is active. Briefing cache refreshes twice daily. Ask query logs are retained for rate-limiting purposes only. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
Cookies and local storage
Prewanth uses browser local storage to remember your zip code, tab preferences, and anonymous usage counts. We use Supabase session cookies for authentication. We do not use advertising cookies.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing prewanthapp@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Minors
Prewanth is not directed at minors under the legal age in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
